A shoulder-shrug emoji accompanied T-Pain’s Super Bowl halftime-aspired Instagram post on Tuesday (Feb. 13), saying, “I got the hits @nfl.”
The post, which includes a photoshopped image of T-Pain in front of the Super Bow LVIII logo and a “What If” title, was inspired by a recent conversation with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco on the Night Cap Live Show in Las Vegas.
A third image of a fan’s tweet on X, saying, “Not gonna lie, I think we need a T-Pain Super Bowl halftime.”
“Absolutely, why wouldn’t I do that?” T-Pain told Shannon Sharpe, who had asked if he would accept a Super Bowl offer during the interview.

The inquiry follows Usher’s most-watched Super Bowl Halftime performance last Sunday, which was viewed by 100 million viewers. As the next Super Bowl is scheduled in New Orleans, Louisiana, inquiries about next year’s performers arose immediately after Usher’s performance.
The NFL Super Bowl halftime show performer is decided by Jay-Z and Roc Nation. Previous show headliners are Dr. Dre, Eminem, Rihanna, and Beyonce.
T-Pain achieved fame in 2005 with his debut hit, “I’m Sprung.” He became an icon with 11 #1s hits, including classics such as “I’m In Luv With A Stripper,” “Bartender,” and “Buy U A Drink.” Along with solo hits, he has huge collaborations with Flo-Rida, Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, and Lil Wayne.
T-Pain released his new single, “Dreaming,” last Friday.
